HUDSON TIPI
The Hudson Tipi is made from generation 2 sil-poly. Unlike most ripstop fabrics that use the same yarn throughout, our silpoly uses a thicker yarn for the ripstop grid coupled with a thin/light base fabric. The result is a highly durable, abrasion resistant fabric with very little stretch/sag when wet. This material is coated on both sides with a silicone a PU layer making both side of the material waterproof. Offering increased UV resistance and less sag when wet.Dimensions are 9'-4"x 9'-4" x62" tall. Weight 1 pound 8oz . Comes with stove jack and trekking pole extender. Linelocks on all of the side and corner guyouts. For 2019 we have revised the hudson and it now has a center uretek zipper, cordura insead of x-pack for reiforcements, Made of 1.1 oz sil-poly material. Guyout ropes are included (colors will vary). Minimum number of stakes for setup is 4 and maximun is 14. PLEASE NOTE- THIS PRODUCT REQUIRES SEAM SEALING (WE RECOMMEND GEAR AID SEAM GRIP + SIL SEAM SEALER, WHICH IS AVAILABLE AT MOST BIG BOX SPORTING GOODS STORE AND ON AMAZON). FOR TARP STAKES WE RECOMMEND EITHER THE EASTON NANO 6' OR THE MSR GROUND HOGS. HIstory- When we designed our Tipi we wanted it to be different from all the other ones on the market. For one my biggest complaint with the round style tipis was that I felt like I was loosing usable space with the round design. Thats why with my tipi I went with a square style tipi, all of our sides are 9'4" making each side of our tipi usable. It took several prototypes to get this tipi to a point where we felt it was ready for the market. Like all of our shelters we dont release any of them for purchase until they have been tested for months in the backcountry by us. This gives us the opportunity to see for ourselves how the shelter will work and what adjustments need to be made.
RETURN POLICY
If you are not satisfied with a product purchased directly from Jimmy Tarps at the time you receive it, you may return it, unused, for a refund of your purchase price, within 14 days. The only exception to our return policy is items which are specially made, those items which are customized or have any changes made from the original design are non returnable.
If one of our products fails due to a manufacturer's defect within 3 months of the purchase date, original purchaser may return it to us for repair at our discretion. This warranty protects the original owner against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials. Damage due to wear and tear, accident, improper use, negligence, or the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use is not covered. Common damage such as from rips and tears in the materials (but not limited to) is not covered under the warranty and is considered normal wear and tear. If we determine that the damage is not covered under our warranty, we will contact you prior to performing any repair work. If seams have been sealed using seam sealer, then the product is not returnable.
