Summit Bivy Sack
Summit bivy sack has a generation 2 sil-poly bath tub floor, a Momentium 90 water proof and breathable top with ample bug netting for increased breathability. The summit bivy also has a full 6 foot long center zip for ease of entry and exit. The Summit bivy also has a hanging loop at the top of the zipper to pull the netting off your face if needed. The Summit bivy will house the largest inflatable mattresses and still have plenty of room. There is a small netting stuff sack sewn in at the head to store valuables and the bivy stuffs into this sack. Jimmy Tarps only uses the best materials in this bivy. YKK zippers, guttermen upholstery thread. All seams and zipper are double sewn for strength. Measurements on the summit bivy are approximately 7 foot long, 35" wide at the shoulders and tapers down to the feet. Weighs 6oz. Currently comes with a Ranger green bottom and Black M-90 top and netting. History- This product was designed out of necessity. After trying almost every bag on the market and getting tired of getting to much condensation, we set out to find a material that would do better with condensation. This bivy was in the prototype phase for two years, during that time we tested different options for different material combos until we found the one combo we where satisfied with using. Our goal was to keep the condensation to minimum to none all while keeping the bivy as light weight as possible.
Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with a product purchased directly from Jimmy Tarps at the time you receive it, you may return it, unused, for a refund of your purchase price, within 14 days. The only exception to our return policy is items which are specially made, those items which are customized or have any changes made from the original design are non returnable.
If one of our products fails due to a manufacturer's defect within 3 months of the purchase date, original purchaser may return it to us for repair at our discretion. This warranty protects the original owner against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials. Damage due to wear and tear, accident, improper use, negligence, or the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use is not covered. Common damage such as from rips and tears in the materials (but not limited to) is not covered under the warranty and is considered normal wear and tear. If we determine that the damage is not covered under our warranty, we will contact you prior to performing any repair work. If seams have been sealed using seam sealer, then the product is not returnable.
